In this workshop we will make a basic pinhole camera out of a light-tight container and try to make an exposure in it. We will discuss the optics of pinhole cameras and cover some of the issues that come up, and tips for troubleshooting. Attendees can choose to make a pinhole camera during the workshop, or observe and give it a try on their own. *The studio address is suite 111- 1000 Parker St. Vancouver; studio access is from George St at Napier. The studio has its own separate entrance. Look for the second blue staircase from the left of the loading bay doors and the ‘111’ sign above the door.
Attendees can bring a small box or other light-tight container if they would like to try making their own camera. We will have a few on hand as well.
Please be prepared to show proof of registration onsite.
